TWO COMPONENT POLYSULPHIDE SEALANT FOR INSULATING GLASS

Polysulfide (Thiover®) sealant is a two-part polysulphide especially formulated for sealing insulating glass.

Polysulfide (Thiover®) is produced in different viscosities in order to suit the individual requirements of the operator and of the equipment in use.

Polysulfide (Thiover®) is totally solvent free and can be used either for the production of single seal or dual seal insulated glass units. Containing no solvents, use of Fenzi polysulphide material creates a VOC rating of '0' - for any 'LEED' Green Building requirements.

Mixed at a ratio by volume of 100:10 (or simply 10 to 1), Fenzi polysulphide shows excellent adhesion to glass, aluminum, stainless steel and galvanized steel components.

Peel strength at 180° to glass with cohesive failure: 110/25 mm. - application surface must be clean and free of any contaminants.

Fenzi Polysulfide (Thiover®) base material is shipped in steel drums containing 50.5 gallons (42.07 Imp. Gal), with the corresponding catalyst being 5.05 gallons ( 4.18 Imp. Gal.) in pails - sold as a kit together.

Finished IG units should be glazed in accordance with industry recognized standards - such as IGMA, ASTM, CWDMA or NWWDA guidelines for the use of various tapes, setting blocks and sealants.

Polysulfide (Thiover®) made units typically are intended for use in both residential and commercial applications.

While Fenzi Polysulfide (Thiover®) brand polysulphide is found to be compatible with most glazing materials found in the market, we request that you obtain verification through your Fenzi Sales representative. Glazing materials do change in 'chemistry' from time to time if not in name only.
